Sasha Crawford, representing North Texas Cheetahs and Keller High in Texas, won the women's 17-18 800-meter title in a lifetime-best 2:08.56 at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Crawford, entering her senior year, improved on her May 14 performance from the Texas UIL 6A state final, when she placed third in 2:09.14.
